Bariatric Surgery
Our team includes three surgeons, nurse practitioner, three dieticians, nurse coordinator, patient navigator and scheduler, psychologist, physical therapist, personal trainer, and plastic surgeons.
Breast Surgery
Our team includes breast surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, genetic counselors, cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema therapists, and nurse navigators.
Burn Surgery
Our team includes three full-time, fellowship-trained burn surgeons all general surgery/surgical critical care boarded, six advanced practice providers, along with a dedicated team of nutritionists, pharmacists, physical/occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
Cardiothoracic Surgery
Our team includes highly-skilled surgeons and support staff who are dedicated and engaged in providing exceptional patient care and advanced surgical training to our residents and fellows.
Colorectal Surgery
Our team of surgeons, physician assistants, and patient coordinators provide clinical excellence, education, and advancement of medical knowledge in the field of Colorectal Surgery.
Endocrine Surgery
Our team of surgeons provide expertise and comprehensive care for thyroid nodules and cancer, thyrotoxicosis, hyperparathyroidism, adrenal neoplasms, pancreas neuroendocrine tumors, gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors, and multiple endocrine neoplasia.
GI, Trauma, and Endocrine Surgery
The Division of GI, Trauma, and Endocrine Surgery (GITES) includes surgeons from the sections of Burn, Bariatrics, Colon and Rectal Surgery, Endocrine, Hernia, Minimally Invasive and Foregut Surgery, Trauma-Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.
Pediatric Surgery
Our team includes 17 board-certified pediatric surgeons and 16 advanced practice providers providing expert care for patients with pediatric surgical and fetal conditions.
Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Our providers are committed to delivering outstanding patient-centered care across a full spectrum of services, including: breast reconstruction, complex reconstructive surgery, craniofacial surgery, pediatric surgery, microsurgery, hand surgery, upper and lower extremity reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery.
Surgical Oncology
Our surgical oncology faculty are members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and are nationally recognized leaders, serving in leadership roles in national and international medical societies, including many as leaders of international guidelines for tumor treatments.
Transplant Surgery
Members of our team include transplant surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, anesthesiologists, pathologists, transplant nurses and coordinators, financial coordinators, transplant administrators, social workers, and other professionals who specialize in transplantation.
Trauma and Acute Care Surgery
Our faculty includes surgeons with board certification in surgery and critical care, physician assistants who specialize in surgery, and renowned research leaders in trauma, burn, and inflammation.
Urology
Our fellowship-trained urologists offer state-of-the-art urological care to patients, as well, superb medical student and resident education.
Vascular Surgery
