Sara Skluzacek, PA-C

Our group is committed to providing the highest quality of professional and ethical care to our patients through integration of comprehensive education and exception musculoskeletal research.

I joined Dr. Grimsrud’s practice in 2019 after completing my studies at the University of Evansville where I earned my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and obtained my NCCPA certification.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my friends and visiting my family in Kansas City. Like many people in Colorado, I love traveling and staying active. I enjoy long-distance running, cycling, and yoga. I’m a sunshine enthusiast with a strong passion for adventure!

Greta

Greta likes to hike and loves the snow. She tries to stay active by hiking in the mountains in the summer and running alongside cross-country skis in the winter. Greta had surgery for her knee and is still recovering from that, so she is very aware of the recovery process her mom’s patients go through.

Bailey

Bailey likes to do everything Greta likes to do. She is very much the perfect little sister. She likes to jump and play all of the time. Bailey just started going hiking and camping and can’t wait for the winter to get here so she can see Colorado snow for the first time!

Ashley

Ashley is a Level 3 Medical Assistant and has been working with UCHealth for many years now! She is truly passionate about the field of orthopedics and looks forward to welcoming our patients with open ears and a full heart. She is compassionate towards patients’ feelings and strives to ensure patients leave with questions answered and gameplay in place. In regards to hobbies, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, painting, working out, and hiking.

Alyssa

Alyssa is originally from a small farm town in Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University and moved to beautiful Colorado in 2015 to be closer to the mountains. She has been working with our UCHealth team since October 2021. On her off-days, she enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing.

Catie

Catie has been a Certified Medical Assistant for 10 years, with nine of those years in Cardiology and recently found a new passion here at UCHealth Foot and Ankle Center. She strives to provide the best patient care possible and truly enjoys helping patients. When she is not at work, Catie loves being with her three children and granddaughter.

Fernando

Fernando joined the CU Medicine family in January of 2021. He’s been certified as an Athletic Trainer since 2009. He is originally from Southern California and moved to colorful Colorado in 2019. He enjoys spending time with his family, BBQs, golfing and hiking.

Kacy

Kacy has been working as Medical Assistant for Orthopedics for the past 3 years. She and her husband moved to Denver about two years ago, along with her two turtles and a 20-pound cat named “Q”. Kacy loves providing a helping hand to patients as they make their way towards the road to recovery. “Witnessing my patients going from being able to barely walk or lift their arms, to moving with little to no pain is why I do what I do,” Kacy states. She loves seeing the smiles on her patient's faces each and every day!

Lynette

Surgery scheduling is a critical component of patient care, a complex process of coordinating patients’ personal schedules and needs, surgeons’ schedules, access to hospital facilities, and insurance authorizations. Lynette’s goal as your surgery scheduler is to make that process as easy as possible for you! When Lynette isn’t helping our patients, she enjoys spending time with my family, my two dogs, crafting, and walking.
