A Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team Focused on Improving Brain Function
The Neuronal Injury & Plasticity program (a.k.a. NIP) is a collaborative multidisciplinary group of PhD and MD faculty from various departments at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. By combining in vivoanimal models of ischemic/traumatic brain injury, neurophysiology, neurobehavioral, histological and molecular approaches we hope to identify targets to improve functional outcome after an insult to the brain.
