University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Chancellor Don Elliman and campus leadership issued a statement stating, "The recently announced Supreme Court opinion, which essentially overturns the precedent set by Roe v. Wade that has prevailed for almost 50 years, represents a major step backward for women's rights. This opinion allows states to restrict patient autonomy and to insert government into the relationship between healthcare providers and patients.
