Community Engagement

The UCHealth Integrated Transgender Program (ITP) Community Advisory Board (CAB) is a partnership between the TGD community and the medical and research staff at UCHealth and University of Colorado School of Medicine.

The CAB is composed of transgender and gender diverse patients from the UCHealth Integrated Transgender Program, representatives from community organizations serving transgender and gender diverse patients, and community providers. The UCHealth ITP CAB meets quarterly and provides essential input on the clinical care provided at UCHealth and research initiatives from the School of Medicine.

The mission of the Integrated Transgender Program Community Advisory Board is to improve care for transgender and gender-diverse patients of UCHealth and connect the community with the clinic by providing insights on clinical, research, and educational endeavors based on lived experience.
