Tonya Moore

Tonya Moore, PhD, RN


Dr. Tonya Moore is a healthcare executive, nurse, educator, and health policy leader whose work focuses on strengthening health systems, expanding access to care in underserved communities, and building sustainable health workforce pipelines. She is founder and chief executive officer of MooreNOW, LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting firm that supports organizational effectiveness and leadership development across the healthcare sector. At the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she previously led community health services and enterprise-wide workforce development initiatives, designing leadership programs across the academic health system and launching an after-hours outreach clinic in the Mississippi Delta featuring the state’s first Tele-Urgent pilot program.

Dr. Moore was selected as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow, where she contributed to federal policy efforts advancing health equity, rural health access, and workforce development. She previously served as president of the Mississippi Nurses Association and remains engaged in initiatives that strengthen health and opportunity in underserved communities.
