Dr. Krugman, former Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and Dean at the University of Colorado School of Medicine for 25 years, is a distinguished professor in pediatrics and child abuse and neglect at the Kempe Center. He was a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow, and director of the C. Henry Kempe National Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. Dr. Krugman was chair of the U.S. Advisory Board of Child Abuse and Neglect, and served 15 years as editor-in-chief of Child Abuse and Neglect: The International Journal. He is a member of the National Academy of Medicine. Dr. Krugman is also co-founder of the National Foundation to End Child Abuse and Neglect (EndCAN).
