Heidi Baskfield, JD

Founder, The Advocacy Collective

Heidi serves as the Executive Director for Speak Our Minds: Ending the Youth Mental Crisis, a national non-profit building a working system of youth mental health care.  Heidi previously served as the Vice President of Population Health and Advocacy for Children’s Hospital Colorado where she oversaw the Child Health Advocacy Institute, the hospital’s population health strategy, and hospital advocacy and legislative efforts. Heidi has a long history of work in law and policy with experiences ranging from working for former Colorado Governor Ritter to serving as a staff attorney for the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education and Colorado's protection agency for people with disabilities where she advocated for children.
