Colorado’s Primary Care Practices are Fragile and At Risk of Collapse

A new brief, in collaboration with the Larry A. Green Center, describes the fiscal stress, challenges with supplies and impact of COVID-19 on primary care providers and staff in Colorado and nationally. The brief shows that Colorado’s primary care practices are fragile and in danger and need our collective attention and help. The brief also provides several policy interventions that can help primary care practices in the short and long-run.
