The Center for Children’s Surgery is committed to supporting and advancing research endeavors across our member Departments. The CCS has a number of internal research funding opportunities to help faculty members and trainees put their ideas into practice. We provide direct assistance through our Research in Outcomes for Children’s Surgery (ROCS) group and host an Annual Research Symposium. CCS faculty and trainees are involved in a myriad of research areas spanning from basic science, to outcomes and translational work. Our faculty members have been successful in securing extramural support from the NIH, various foundations and agencies. Scholarly publications across the CCS are substantial and growing, increasing 69% between 2019 and 2020.
