CCPM Biobank Service Center
Overview
The Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine Biobank Laboratory is a CLIA/CAP clinical testing laboratory and Colorado’s only CAP-accredited biorepository. For investigators, our services include monitored sample storage; nucleic acid extraction from a variety of sample types; sample retrieval, aliquoting, and shipment; and both clinically-validated and research-grade genetic testing assays.
As a high-throughput testing laboratory, we leverage automation across our operations and can accommodate projects with sample sizes from 10-10,000 or more. Our equipment and assays include freezers and refrigerators, tube sorters, liquid handlers, multiple platforms for nucleic acid extraction, capillary electrophoresis, PCR / Q-PCR /RT-PCR, microarray genotyping, Sanger sequencing, and SARS-CoV-2 detection.
