Population Health Shared Resource (RRID: SCR_021992)
Overview of Services​​
The Population Health Shared Resource (PHSR) supports access to and expertise in data management, analyses, and mapping/data visualization of population-based databases. These databases are ideal for studies requiring access to large samples of patients and/or providers; examination of trends in treatment, screening, or other healthcare services; the impact of policy changes or recommendations on healthcare services; investigating the dissemination of evidence-based technologies and interventions; disparities of treatment or other health care services between groups; geographic distributions of cancer patients and relationships with other geospatial data.
PHSR also offers behavioral science support. These services include patient and community-focused methods such as survey design, data collection in clinic and community settings, medical record review and extraction, qualitative analyses, psychometrics, and participatory research.
