CAN-DO's History
The CAN-DO Study leadership team includes researchers from Washington University St. Louis, the University of Michigan, the University of California San Francisco, Columbia University, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. This core group started designing CAN-DO in 2022! CAN-DO was funded on its second try, and the funding was received in 2025. Recruitment is underway! CAN-DO was designed to be a five-year study, and is on track to finish in 2030.
