The FND Patient Ambassador Program launched in May 2025. This free program connects new FND Clinic patients with individuals who have completed the FND treatment program. Patient ambassadors may meet with you after your neurological assessment at the start of your treatment in the clinic, upon request. They are here to share their experiences, talk with you about your own experiences, and provide support/encouragement to help you continue your treatment journey with confidence.**
Jim Cosper About me: I am in my late sixties, I have wonderful parents, beautiful wife, beautiful daughter, three beautiful granddaughters, and one handsome great grandson and two beagle dogs Flynn and Buford. I enjoy gardening and the outdoors. I love cars, specifically Ford Mustangs! We have a 1999 GT bright red and a 2018 EcoBoost silver convertible. My wife and I enjoy cruising around town in the Mustangs. I enjoy doing photography for many years. My passion is advocating for myself and others with FND. I have had symptoms for FND since 2003. I had a Functional Stroke in 2015 and was diagnosed with MS. Then in 2019 they gave me the correct diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder. I have had many symptoms from drop attacks to Functional seizure clusters. | ![]() |
