Program Size: One Trainee maximum per training duration. Applicants are considered on a rolling basis with off-cycle start dates as needed.

About: This training program aims to educate trainees to reduce the cancer burden through integration of the processes of discovery, development, and delivery of new anticancer agents.

Applicants eligible for appointment must meet the following qualifications:

1. Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LMCE); or
2. Graduation from any college of osteopathic medicine in the U.S. accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); or
3. Graduation from medical school outside of the United States or Canada, and meeting one of the following additional qualifications:
   1. Holds a currently valid certificate from the ECFMG prior to appointment; or
   2. Holds a full unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado; or
   3. Has graduated from a medical school outside the United States and has completed a Fifth Pathway Program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.
4. Applicants must be eligible for either a physician training license or a full medical license as granted by the Colorado Medical Board.
5. In accordance with the CU GME USMLE, COMLEX, and LMCC Examination Policy, applicants must have successfully completed the USMLE Step I and USMLE Step II (CK and CS) examinations, or the COMLEX Level I and COMLEX Level II examinations as evidenced by obtaining a passing grade for the examinations prior to starting a residency.  Fellowship applicants must have successfully completed the USMLE Step III examination or the COMLEX Level III examination, or the Canadian LMCC examination, as evidenced by obtaining a passing grade for that examination prior to starting a fellowship.
6. Candidates must have at least one year of clinical oncology experience or have completed an ACGME accredited hematology/oncology fellowship with ECFMG certification of equivalent (i.e., LMCC).
7. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful, permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise possess or be able to obtain prior to the start date of the appropriate documentation to allow them to legally train at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

About: The Thoracic Oncology fellowship aims to train oncology fellows in state-of-the-art high quality care for patients with thoracic malignancies and in the conduct of clinical and translational research related to such patients.

The goal of this year long Psychosocial Oncology Postdoctoral Fellowship is to prepare trainees for patience and board certification in clinical health psychology, with focused preparation for faculty positions in academic medical centers.
