Alert: Canvas Outage Update
Canvas access has been restored for our users, but the service reliability remains uncertain. Due to recent events, Canvas has had intermittent outages which are at the discretion of the vendor and may occur during a final exam. Faculty and staff may continue to use Canvas, but we strongly advise faculty and students to prepare a contingency plan for turning in assignments and final exams in the event Canvas access becomes unavailable again.

Opioid/Substance Use Disorder Training Resources
- Physicians must complete at least 2 hours of substance use disorder training for Colorado medical license renewal every 2 years (e.g. CME courses, self-study, peer review, volunteering, teaching). Exemptions: national board certification that requires equivalent substance use prevention training, or attestation that the healthcare provider does not prescribe opioids
- DEA registration renewal requires one-time verification of at least 8 hours of approved training about the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders.
