I am investigating the molecular biology of IL-37 in T Regulatory cells and its effects in in vivo infection models. I am originally from California, moving to Colorado from Texas where I completed my PhD. My dissertation focused on understanding the role of Flagellar Regulated Hemagglutinin A (FrhA) of Vibrio cholerae in pathogenesis, as well as the characterization of a molecular inhibitor. My experience there has afforded me a significant skill set in molecular techniques that I am currently applying to understand the regulatory effects of IL-37 and its role as a potential mechanism for treatment in a wide range of conditions.
