In-Vivo Disease Modeling Unit

The In Vivo Disease Modeling Unit employs state-of-art, validated rodent models of cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and hepatic fibrosis to discover novel pathogenic mechanisms and to assess the efficacy of interventional therapeutics.

Organ fibrosis in these models is triggered by genetic, surgical and/or chemical manipulation, and the high quality data that are produced enable critical go/no-go decisions about projects and therapeutic strategies.
