STOP T1D offers health care providers access to clinical autoantibody testing through the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) Autoantibody Laboratory — with NO COST to your practice or your patients.*
Bring Early Type 1 Diabetes Screening into Your Practice
Participating providers collect a small blood sample and ship it directly to the BDC Antibody Laboratory. Testing is performed using a highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) assay to detect type 1 diabetes antibodies (GAD, IA-2, insulin, ZnT8), and the tissue transglutaminase autoantibody (TG) - a marker of celiac disease. Results are returned within 1-2 weeks to the requesting provider.
