Please note that because WORTH does not offer clinical services, the healthcare providers we collaborate with are external providers in their own clinics who work with us to see our participants. While they are not physically located in our office, we have established partnerships with these reputable medical, dental, and behavioral health facilities.
Having a doctor who respects and genuinely cares about you is key to taking control of your health!
That's why we make sure to connect you with the medical providers who we have met and are excited to be a part of your journey to be a healthier you. We team up with medical, dental, and behavioral health providers from all across the Denver metro area, creating a network of care that’s committed to your well-being.
We are always looking to meet and connect with the medical providers, dentists, therapists, pharmacies and clinics who are interested in working with us and being available to folks as they reenter back into our community. If you are a provider or clinic interested in learning more about how to accept clinical referrals from the WORTH team, please reach out to us at CUWORTH@cuanschutz.edu.

Jen Hronkin, MD I’m passionate about expanding contraceptive access to our patients and I’m proud to provide same day and/or next day appointments for LARC’s including IUD’s and Nexplanon.
Cara Rabin, DO Clinical Interests? Too many- that’s why I love family medicine! Caring for the youngest and oldest patients and everyone in the middle: women’s health including contraceptive management and mental wellness, gender affirming care, taking care of athletes (especially runners). I treat my patients as I would hope someone would care for my own mother or child. I love getting to know about my patients’ lives beyond their medical needs. I chose my residency program (Mount Sinai in NYC) specifically because it focused on social justice and serving the underserved. I hope to continue to care for patients who have been marginalized by the medical community.
Juanita Melau, MD My many clinical interests include women’s health, sexual health, sports medicine, in-office procedures, chronic pain management, and gender affirming care. I believe the best care can be delivered by getting to know a whole person. Each person is an expert in their own body and I strive to deliver care that is not only evidence-based, but also personalized to each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Steven Ryan, MD Family medicine- helping people feel physically and mentally the best they can so they can live their best life, is all about caring for individuals in their own family setting, with “family” having such a broad and variable meaning. “Family” can mean the people formative in the young year, the people who share genetic code, the people with whom one works or plays, the people in a neighborhood or community, all the way to the “family of humans”. My joy in being a family physician is to learn about and appreciate patients as part of their “health family” and to work together so they feel their best in all aspects of the rest of their world. |

Betterlife Counseling
Our therapists know that the human experience is often painful. We aim to be a blend of support, teacher, and witness to your story and growth. Better Life Therapy offers competent counseling to support all members of the community. Each of our therapists believes therapy can have a monumental impact in your life, in the life of your child, and in your relationships. We focus on doing what works. That means using a combination of approaches based on who you are and what you’re looking to get out of therapy.
Therapy looks a bit different for each person. It may be focused on exploring and making sense of your story. It may include learning concrete skills for changing thought and behavior patterns. It may involve work outside of sessions. We’ll talk about your preferences and together, we’ll develop a plan that will move you toward your goals.
For those interested, our approach is rooted in a combination of several approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, internal family systems and mindfulness-based therapy.

Hannah Deminski, LCSW, LAC Our work will focus on reclaiming your personal power, living as an expression of your values, and growing your capacity to create change in your life. One of my guiding beliefs as a therapist is that you already possess the strength, ability, and innate qualities needed to evolve; I am here to help identify and remove the obstacles standing in your way. In therapy, we create a space to discover realistic solutions to problematic patterns and learn coping skills that produce lasting change to create your “best life.” My desire as your therapist is to offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to show up as your authentic self. I use an evidence based therapeutic approach to construct healthy solutions to life concerns. I utilize my professional skills for treatment, but also lean on my personal experiences of grief and loss, trauma, the intricacies of couple and family relationships, hopelessness and conceptualizing a sense of purpose and identity. I have had the privilege of working in a variety of social work settings within the last decade. I have a wealth of experience working with children and families, behind the walls of a jail with those struggling with their life circumstances and severe hopelessness, and people with intellectual and physical disabilities. I have strong strategies for managing Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Trauma, work-life-balance, and goal completion. I am primarily guided by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy.
Amber Chambless, LPC, Ed.D Therapy is all about you-you’re the expert. I take a client-centered, solution-focused approach to therapy. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one in which you are the expert on yourself, and I come into the session with the experience and skills to help. I have a laid back style and like using humor, when appropriate. I enjoy working with children, adolescent, and adult clients who are struggling with eating disorders, mood issues, life transitions, and chronic health issues. In therapy I work as a guide, helping you develop insight and tap into motivation to make positive change in your life. My aim is to help you reach the goals you set and live the life that you want to live. I have a master’s degree in psychology and a doctorate in counseling psychology and I have been working as a therapist for 10 years. I am certified in Synergetic Play Therapy.
Anna Guidone, LSW We haven’t met yet, but I already know you are brave. Taking the first step towards caring for your mental and emotional health is no easy task! My goal is to walk alongside you on your healing journey and help you find your own power. I am committed to creating a safe, judgment-free space for all. I understand that therapy is not a ‘one size fits all’ practice. I promise to meet you where you are at and provide individually tailored care for your needs. My philosophy is that humans are doing the best they can, with what they know, in the circumstances they are in. We all have a story to tell and one that has shaped us. Therapy can be a place where we process parts of our story that have been heavy and find new ways to live a more fulfilled life. I have supported individuals in navigating major life transitions, burnout, relationship issues, and trauma.
Natalia Piccolo, Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Sometimes life presents unexpected and challenging situations to handle. Every so often we spend years carrying the weight of certain painful events that have not been resolved in the past. I understand the courage and strength it takes to recognize when it is time to seek help and someone to talk to about what we are going through. Everyone is the owner and expert in their life, and I genuinely believe that everyone can cope and overcome life’s adversities. My role as a therapist is to be the bridge that helps you find your own answers, your truth, and the meaning of life. We will identify your goals and aspirations and take steps to achieve the best version of yourself. I believe the first step to healing is building a caring and therapeutic relationship with my clients. I focus on providing a safe, validating, and non-judgmental space where you allow yourself to explore and give a place to those thoughts, feelings, and difficulties that you are going through. My therapeutic approach is one of acceptance and openness, with humble curiosity and respect for you and your experiences. I got my psychology bachelor’s degree in Argentina, where I am from, and I am currently at the Adams State University of Colorado earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
RJ Gazarek, Pre-Licensed Social Worker You don’t know what to do anymore. You feel lost and hopeless. Life feels out of control. You’re looking around and wondering, “what happened? how did I get here?” You find yourself constantly questioning yourself. And you’re not sure what better even looks like anymore or if it’s possible. You are in control. You are strong. You are more than good enough. And you are absolutely capable of living the life you dream of. Imagine a world where you didn’t have constant anxiety, panic attacks, depression, stress, or struggles with friends and family. A world where you can fully accept, love, know, and trust yourself. No two journeys through life are the same, and no two treatments will be the same either. My approach to therapy is centered on you and what you need to make life a bit better every day. Whether that’s overcoming problems at work. Improving relationships with friends, families, and loved ones. Getting out from under the dark clouds. Or finally being able to breathe again. We’ll work together to overcome any problems today while also building the tools you need to face anything new that comes your way.
Sophia Tornabene, LSW Our stories do not define us, but they are a part of us. I believe your story, feelings, and experiences are worthy of being seen, heard, and valued. It is when people feel seen and accepted by others that they are able to fully embrace themselves and show up authentically in all aspects of their lives. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in understanding how your intersecting identities impact your way of thinking, and shape how you navigate through life and its challenges. I believe an essential component of therapy is having a warm, supportive, and accepting space, that allows for deeper self-connection, curiosity, and exploration. I see you as the expert on your experiences, and my role is to meet you where you are and tailor my approach to meet your needs. We will work together in an individualized process to create healing, change, and growth in your life. My approach is empathetic, gentle, and collaborative. |
