GI, Trauma, and Endocrine Surgery (GITES)

Our surgeons provide modern, comprehensive care for both outpatients and inpatients for routine and critical medical conditions.

The Division of GI, Trauma, and Endocrine Surgery (GITES) includes the sections of Burn, Bariatrics, Colon and Rectal Surgery, Endocrine, Hernia, Minimally Invasive and Foregut Surgery, Trauma-Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care.

All of our surgeons hold faculty appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and several serve in leadership positions of national medical societies. They all contribute to our mission of providing clinical excellence, education, and advancing medical knowledge. Our physicians work together using a collaborative approach to care. Patients are referred to the surgeon with the appropriate expertise.
