The Division of GI, Trauma, and Endocrine Surgery (GITES) includes the sections of Abdominal Wall Reconstruction and HerniaBurn and Frostbite, Bariatrics and Minimally Invasive SurgeryColon and Rectal SurgeryEndocrineTrauma-Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care. The Division is home to over 100 surgeons, research faculty, advanced practice providers, and staff. Our vision is to Improve Every Life through innovating surgical care, curing through discovery, enlightening tomorrow’s surgical leaders and daring to be exceptional. Our physicians and providers work together using a collaborative approach to care. Our patient centered philosophy is to partner with the patient to develop the management plan that bests suits the patient values and focuses on developing individualized, comprehensive care plans for their surgical needs.
