We are excited to tell you about our Fort Collins Regional Medical Campus. This campus is called the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine at Colorado State University and is a collaboration between the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine and Colorado State University (CSU). The leadership at both CU and at CSU came together to expand their integrated efforts in human health and build upon their long-standing robust research partnerships. We are proud to announce that the first 4-year class of Fort Collins medical students just graduated in May 2025, and beginning the class of 2029 we are increasing our class size to 14 students per year.
This campus works closely with the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical
Sciences at CSU to effectively teach foundational and advanced science content.
We also partner with the Northern Colorado Community on many levels with the goal of preparing graduates to address the
complex health care issues that individuals and society face. This campus
provides novel opportunities by integrating some of the best of what both
institutions have to offer from science education to translational research to
a One Health framework and more.
The Fort Collins Regional Medical Campus is housed on the fourth floor of the CSU Health and Medical Center, which opened in 2017.

Suzanne Brandenburg, Associate Dean for Medical Education, Fort Collins Regional Medical Campus
While the advantages of being affiliated with two major universities are attractive in themselves, I primarily chose the FCRMC because I knew I would thrive in the more intimate learning environment.
Nick F., Class of 2026
