Recent News from CoCWBHW


Drs. Allison Dempsey & Melissa Kwitowski received an R34 award from NIMH. “Preventing Maternal Mood, Anxiety, and Trauma Symptoms after Cesarean Delivery”. This project refines and evaluates a low cost, non-pharmacologic, single-session intervention to prevent onset of perinatal mood, anxiety, and traumas symptoms..

Dr. Neill Epperson, was a guest speaker for Let's Talk Menopause on February 27th. Can I buy a noun? Relationship between menopause and cognitive concerns.

Dr. Andrew Novick was featured in a 9News article on psilocybin as a treatment for depression.

Dr. Noy Phimphasone-Brady co-authored the publication “Comprehensive transition of care for polycystic ovary syndrome from adolescence to adulthood,” which published in The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health.
