GUIDED EXCURSIONS
We note below some guided activities near Grand Hyatt Vail that can be enjoyed during the afternoon break on October 14/Fri, as well as before the Welcome Reception (October 12/Wed) and after the meeting (October 16/Sun). This page will be updated as the conference dates get closer.
Please note that the weather in the mountains in October can vary significantly. On average, the temperatures range from highs of 54°F / 12°C to lows of 25°F / -4°C, so bring layers - beanie, gloves, jackets and buffs/scarves! Snowfall is within the realm of possibility - the month of October averages 7 in/ 18 cm of snow in Vail, but this usually occurs later in the month. A dusting of snow would make the peaks look more majestic!
