The Department of Radiology has provides intra-departmental biostatistical support for Faculty, Fellows, and Residents. Our statistical resource team assists researchers with study design, statistical analysis, and interpretation/communication of research findings. Support extends to collaborative authoring grants, IRB applications, conference abstracts/posters/papers, and manuscripts for peer reviewed journals.
Expertise: functional data analysis, high dimensional data analysis, data visualization, statistical programming, dynamic and reproducing reporting, machine learning.
Background: Dr. DeWitt earning his PhD in Biostatistics from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2017. He also holds an MS in Statistics from Colorado State University (2010), along with a BS and MS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines (2005, 2007). Dr. DeWitt has a well established record of collaborative publication. He has also contributed to and released several open-source software packages.

Background: Ms. Jensen is currently a PhD candidate in Biostatistics. She holds a MS in Biostatistics from the Colorado School of Public Health (2018) along with Bachelor degrees in Actuarial Science (BS) and Economics (BA) from Colorado State University (2011). Before going back to graduate school, she worked in the private sector as a revenue auditor. Alex has also worked with the Psychiatry, Neurology, Otolaryngology, and Community and Behavioral Health departments on various projects.
