Department of Radiology Grant Funding

The Department of Radiology announces two grant opportunities for UCD Radiology faculty. Applications to both of these grant opportunities will be reviewed on a semi-annual basis.

Radiology Faculty Development Grants

Up to $10,000 is available to support projects that address imaging or intervention issues including improved diagnosis, better treatment, and patient safety. These projects may include quality control/quality improvement studies that are for hospital improvement only. Data collected should lead to a presentation and publication. Office of Research Development and Education

The ORDE is a great campus resource that is free-of-charge for general funding opportunities. ORDE will meet with you by telephone, e-mail, or in person and establish the following:

Provide regular targeted funding announcements to you based on your interests

Strategize with you about funding sustainability or proposal development etc.


Pilot funding is available to cover the costs of PET-CT scans, radiopharmaceuticals, and quantitative image analysis for studies performed at C-TRIC
