Sarah Milla, MD, Joins Department as Chief of Pediatric Radiology
CU Department of Radiology Jan 5, 2021The Department of Radiology is pleased to welcome Sarah Milla, MD, to its faculty as Professor and Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Milla joins the department from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was a Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics, Co-Director of the Medical School Radiology Elective, and Chair of the Global Radiology Committee. At Emory, she also served on the Emory Medical School Admissions Committee, the Steering Committee for the Emory Alliance for Women in Medicine and Science, and Department of Radiology Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Dr. Milla’s areas of interest include translational research, medical education, mentorship, leadership development, and wellness. Dr. Milla graduated from Duke University School of Medicine and then completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell and fellowships in Pediatric Radiology and Pediatric Neuroradiology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
