What are your favorite things to do in the Denver Area?

Having grown up in Canada, I'm excited to be near the mountains again! I wouldn't say I'm the typical extreme sports-involved Denver resident, but I do look forward to enjoying the outdoors with my wife and two daughters. I'm also hoping to start my girls skiing this winter. I've noticed the people in Denver all seem so happy to be here that they exude kindness in their interactions with others. I'm very happy to train here.

What is the most rewarding thing about Radiology residency?

The culture at CU Radiology is so well balanced. With the limited sample I have as a new R1, the residents and few attendings I've met are all extremely knowledgeable, fun and easy to interact with. It's very apparent people are happy to work here and that they enjoy what they do, which reinforces my excitement to be here at CU and to be beginning my radiology journey.
