Scholarly Agenda
My scholarly agenda is twofold. First, my clinical research focuses on investigating human movement patterns and muscle performance during functional activity and ways physical therapists can intervene to optimize movement quality and improve physical function and quality of life for patients following total hip replacement. Second, my educational research focuses on exploring best-practice educational methods related to teaching and learning in physical therapy for teaching clinical skills, evidence-based practice skills, and clinical reasoning skills for entry-level DPT students. Additionally, I am investigating and exploring the use of new technologies in the classroom and its effect on educational outcomes.
