What drew you to the physical therapy profession and the CU Physical Therapy Program?
There are a multitude of reasons I decided to pursue physical therapy as a profession, but to keep it short, I am passionate about empowering others through movement to improve their quality of life. I was drawn to the CU Physical Therapy Program because of their academic prestige, interdisciplinary education, culture, and efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the profession.
What made you interested in joining the CU Physical Therapy Alumni Association?
I was interested in promoting interconnectedness between the current students and alumni of this program. I wanted to assist the board with providing student perspectives for event planning and other program pursuits.
What do you enjoy most about serving on the CU PTAA?
I am inspired by all the members of the board who work in various specialties of PT and still make time to be active on the CU PTAA. It is great to see that once we graduate from this program, we will still be a part of this community for the rest of our careers.
