Colorado Child Welfare Training System

The Kempe Center was selected by the Colorado Department of Human Services to manage and oversee the redesign and implementation of the Child Welfare Training System – a strength-based, family centered, and competency-based training program for child welfare professionals and para-professionals. The Kempe Center oversees the delivery of specialized courses for caseworkers, supervisors, case service aides, foster parents and other child and family serving personnel.
