Department Ranked 6th in NationDepartment of Pediatrics Mar 12, 2019
The University of Colorado's Department of Pediatrics was ranked sixth in the nation for "Best Pediatrics Programs" by U.S. News & World Report. The Department of Pediatrics consistently ranks among the best in the nation. The Department has been ranked in the top 6 in each of the past nine years.
"This represents a tremendous collective effort on the part of all our faculty and staff. This is a demonstration of our campus partnerships with the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children’s Hospital Colorado," said Stephen Daniels, MD, PhD, professor and chairman, Department of Pediatrics, CU School of Medicine, and pediatrician-in-chief, Children's Hospital Colorado. "We will continue to strive to provide the absolute best clinical care, research, education and advocacy that helps improve the health of children in Colorado and across the country."
The rankings, which were released today, were part of the "Best Medical Schools" rankings U.S. News & World Report compiles every year.
