24th Annual Ethics Conference: Considering Justice in an Unjust World
Friday, April 28, 7:30am to 4pm
This conference will explore the concept of justice in health care and the effect that racial, ethnic, gender and status disparities have on access to health care. If you are interested in joining, visit the online registration page.

Tanjala Purnell PhD, MPH, a professor of cardiology and clinical epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has several free courses on health equity. The courses are self-directed. Learn more >

Celebrating Difference Through Individual CommitmentOn this day of Celebrating Difference Week, we encourage you to commit yourself to one activity that promotes difference.  This could be as simple as watching a TED Talk (see page 2 for recommendations) or supporting one of the School of Medicine’s many scholarship programs.  We encourage you to Celebrate and Promote Difference on this Day! April 26
MC2 Breakfast with DocsAs part of the 2022 Celebrating Difference Week, we are partnering with the Medical Career Collaborative (MC2) to host a special breakfast with docs. This event will allow high school students from underrepresented backgrounds an opportunity to meet and get to know a group of physicians who will share their career and education journeys. April 27
