Faculty Diversity and Inclusion Committee
The Department of Pediatrics is committed to creating a diverse environment for students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
Our Faculty Diversity and Inclusion Committee seeks to promote the recruitment, retention, professional excellence and the overall well-being of exceptional junior, mid-career, and senior faculty who reflect the diversity that is pediatrics and will help us grow the professional and cultural experience of the Department.

School of Medicine Statement
The University of Colorado School of Medicine believes that diversity is a value that is central to its educational, research, service, and health
care missions.
We are committed to creating a diverse environment for students, residents,
fellows, and faculty. We believe that an environment of inclusiveness and respect promotes excellence, and that a setting where diversity is valued leads to the training of physicians who are prepared to practice culturally effective medicine
and meet the needs of the various populations we serve.
Diversity is an integral part of providing quality patient care, and we strive to have our department better reflect the demographics of the community we serve.
Through understanding, respecting, and embracing the unique cultural customs and beliefs of our peers, we can begin to do the same for our patients and create an environment that is supportive for all.
