Abstract Guidelines

  • Abstract submissions will open in December 2022 and close April 15th, 2023.
  • Abstracts will be submitted online via Oxford Abstracts. Abstracts sent by mail or email will not be accepted.
  • To submit, click "Submit Abstract" below and create or log into an Oxford Abstracts account.
  • Abstracts have a maximum of 350 words.
  • After submission of the abstract, it will be possible to make changes.
  • The presenting author of the abstract must be registered for the meeting by July 1st, 2023.
  • To ensure smooth review process, please choose a topic for your work from the list below.
  • Abstracts will be presented orally or by poster.

Abstract Format and Content

The abstract should be structured into the following sections:

  • Title
  • Objectives
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Presenter Information

Oral Presentations

Each speaker will have 15 minutes for their presentation. You should aim to speak for no more than 12 minutes with additional time for 1-2 questions. Times for the presentation will be strictly enforced. Please do not go over the time limit. Presentation slides can be uploaded at the break prior to each session. All presenters should give themselves sufficient time to do this.

Poster Presentations

Poster boards will be available for the entire duration of the conference. Each board will measure 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall or 1.5x1 metres. You are welcome to bring any poster that fits this size.
