Carolyn Adele Chabuz, MD

PGY5

Hometown: St John, USVI

Professional Interests: I am undecided but enjoy multiple fields within Otolaryngology including rhinology, facial plastics as well as general.

Hobbies: Growing up in the Virgin Islands and being surrounded by the ocean, I naturally love all water activities including swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking etc. I am a horrible cook but love trying new restaurants and exploring the food scene wherever I go. I also enjoy travelling and take any chance I get to explore someplace new. My next trips include Italy and Japan.

What are your favorite things to do in the Denver area?
While there is no ocean nearby, Denver is a very active city and there is never a shortage of things to do. Some of my favorite activities in Denver are hiking, skiing, attending sporting events, hanging out with my co-residents and exploring the different farmers markets and breweries.

Biggest strength of the program: I really enjoy the relationships between faculty and residents at this program. Everyone is deeply invested in your success and future. There are multiple attendings in each subspecialty of Otolaryngology including generalist, which allows you to learn from many different perspectives.
