Ophthalmology Education

Welcome to our education page! Our department offers competitive Residency and Fellowship programs. In addition, we provide continuing education opportunities through conferences and events, grand rounds and an annual symposium.

Medical students currently enrolled at the University of Colorado School of Medicine may sign up for an elective Ophthalmology rotation by registering for OPHT 8000.

Medical students at accredited US Medical Schools interested in an Ophthalmology elective in our department should become familiar with the requirements set forth by Student Affairs and apply through VSLO. The availability of rotations is limited.

Undergraduate students interested in healthcare professions should contact the CU Undergraduate Pre-Health Program

Fellowship Program

The Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center offers a broad range of sub-specialty fellowship programs, allowing for active involvement in patient care, surgical training, and research experiences across our five affiliated locations.
