Jul 8, 2024Jamie Cronin, Modern Human Anatomy graduate of 2022, just completed her first year of medical school at University of Colorado School of Medicine, and she is rocking it! She presented a poster in April at the American Academy of Neurology conference and presented research she conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Timothy Ung, Dr. Amanda Piquet, and Dr. Kelli Money in the Department of Neurology. The presentation was entitled, “Outcome Comparison of Antibiotics-Only vs. Antibiotics & Surgical Drainage in Brain Abscesses.” Jamie is preparing this work for publication.
According to Jaime, “It was so much fun and I feel very lucky to get to listen to amazing neuroscientists and clinicians. Hopefully, it will be my first neuro conference of many.”
If your medical school application requires anatomy and physiology, the MHA master of science program in Colorado will prepare you to succeed. Jamie not only is at the top of her class in the health science courses in medical school, but she is also excelling in research because of the strong graduate research training she received in theCU Anschutz Modern Human Anatomy Program.
