University of Colorado Hospital

University Hospital is a new, 593-bed quaternary care facility that provides care to patients throughout the State of Colorado and has a referral base that includes seven surrounding states. The hospital is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus where a new state-of-the-art interdisciplinary academic health center and research facilities were built. The University hospital has been ranked the #1 Hospital in Colorado by U.S. News and World Report for the past three years.

The hospital serves the basic health care needs of the local community and provides advanced quaternary care services including solid organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, stroke care, and advanced critical care. The University of Colorado Hospital teaching services include General Internal Medicine, Oncology, Geriatrics, Hepatology, Medical Consultation, Stroke Service, Cardiology/CCU, and Pulmonary/MICU. Elective rotations are also available in all of the medical subspecialties and hospital-based medicine.
