Melanie received her BA from University of Northern Iowa and her Community Partner Work Incentive Counselor Certification in Benefits Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. She now serves as the Colorado Office of Employment First Curriculum Developer and Trainer with Specialty in Benefits Counseling for Individuals with Disabilities. Her areas of special interest include advancing competitive employment opportunities and financial improvement for all individuals with disabilities regardless of severity of disability.
