Thank you for your interest in our Infectious Disease Fellowship Training Program at the University of Colorado School Of Medicine. Our fellowship-training program offers you the opportunity to develop clinical skills in recognizing, diagnosing and treating infectious diseases and to identify and excel in a research area that is interesting and important to you. Our goal is to provide you access to the training, mentorship and support that will assure you success in the career path that you choose.
The ID research program at the University of Colorado provides you with a structured and robust opportunity to learn how to identify a research question and how to develop a concrete plan to pursue it. We are a growing division with highly productive faculty with a range of interests who recognize and support the special financial and training needs of clinician-scientists interested in pursuing a research career. Our close relationships with other departments, such as Microbiology and Immunology, expand your research and mentorship options.
We are very proud of our program and the successes of our over 100 former trainees in both clinical and research venues. We recognize the unique backgrounds, values and skills each new fellow brings to the program. On behalf of the faculty and fellows of the Division of Infectious Diseases, we invite you to review the online materials and to submit an application. You can always contact us directly as well.
