I graduated with dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology, and a minor in Computer Sciences from the University of Denver. During my undergrad, I worked across several research labs, including the Trauma and Stress Studies Lab, and the Computer Vision and Social Robotics Lab, where I explored socially assistive robotics and cognitive behavioral therapy for older adults.
Prior to joining the HCTU, I worked in the Department of Neurology here at CU Anschutz in a clinical research coordination and regulatory role, where I developed a strong interest in work that bridges science and real-world impact, including community-engaged and translational research. I'm excited to continue building on my 10+ years of research experience!
In my free time, I play the French horn as part of the Anschutz Medical Campus Orchestra and enjoy reading, exploring Colorado's beautiful outdoors, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and engaging in creative pursuits like oil painting. I also have a long-term partner, Cam, and a very vocal and friendly cat, Jitterbug!
