Join us for a half-day of wellness for small teams developed to support those experiencing burnout in the community and to enhance wellness and reduce stress.
The Caring for the Front Line (CFL) program is a half-day of wellness for small teams developed to support those experiencing burnout in the community and to enhance wellness and reduce stress. Our team works together with you to address specific challenges and provides a safe environment for team members to come together outside the workplace. Developed by Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s (AHWC) researchers, psychologists, dietitians, and fitness experts – we look forward to caring for those who support you, your work, and the patients or clients you reach.
A healthy, nutritious lunch is prepared by our team of registered dietitians with a focus on global vegetarian flavors. Our seasonal menu meets nutrition needs in a way that is delicious and kind to the planet. Allergen-friendly and vegan options are available.
The bodywork session is a multitude of therapeutic or personal development techniques that involve working with the body in a form involving manipulative therapy, breath work, or energy medicine. Different classes are available based on staffing availability. Please reach out to our team for further information.
Join AHWC dietitians in the demonstration kitchen for quick and easy recipes for working adults. Our goal is to make nutrition fun and accessible to all. With great samples and a down-to-earth approach, we answer your questions about food, health, and how to be well.
Participants attend a private 50-minute restorative yoga flow class for stress relief. Gentle movement is designed to connect the mind and body with practical tools for stretching and adaptations for those who may be new to yoga. This class is designed to nourish and restore the body through slow practice and is appropriate for all levels.
The team spends an hour with our clinical psychologist, Dr. Liz Chamberlain, to increase collaboration and motivation and allow co-workers to connect outside of the workplace. This session provides practical tools for learning self-compassion and focuses on research-based MBSR and MBCT tools that include recognizing stressors and stress management. In addition to providing tools, Dr. Liz leads teams through guided mindfulness exercises designed to be utilized in practical settings, such as the workplace.
