Vivian Cheng, Pharm. D.

Hometown: Westford, MA
Vivian grew up in Westford, Massachusetts, a suburb outside of Boston, and is unapologetically a New England sports fan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, so she is also a die-hard UNC basketball fan (Go Heels!). After pharmacy school, she left the east coast for Denver, Colorado where she completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System and took advantage of the many outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. She is thrilled to be able to stay in this beautiful state to complete her ambulatory care PGY2 residency training at the University of Colorado and continue exploring the outdoors. Her professional interests include primary care, cardiology, population health, and academia. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, backpacking, trying new restaurants and breweries, playing trivia, and attempting to train her newly adopted pup, Nori!
Joe Nardolillo, Pharm. D.
Education: University of Rhode Island
Hometown: Coventry, RI
Joe was born and raised in Rhode Island before moving out west for residency training. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2018 with a minor in Spanish. After school, he continued his desire to work with medically underserved patient populations by completing a PGY1 Residency with Albuquerque Indian Health Center, with additional clinical and teaching experiences at the University of New Mexico. Joe is eager to join the team at University of Colorado and continue his post-graduate education as a PGY2 in Ambulatory Care/Family Medicine. During this time Joe hopes to continue to grow and develop his interests in chronic disease state management, academia, and the role of the pharmacist in primary care teams. In his spare time, Joe enjoys traveling to new places, visiting friends and family, participating in workout classes, cooking, and trying different coffee shops. He is looking forward to a great year exploring all of what Colorado has to offer!
Jennifer Tunoa, Pharm. D.
Education: University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy
Hometown: Ewa Beach, HI
Jennifer grew up in Ewa Beach, Hawaii and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Pacific University in Oregon before attending the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. After pharmacy school, she moved to Seattle, Washington where she completed her PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Jennifer is very excited to return to Denver and the University of Colorado to complete her PGY-2 pharmacy residency in ambulatory care. Her professional interests include primary care, antimicrobial stewardship/infectious disease, population health management, and geriatrics. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new breweries and restaurants, game nights, and spending time with her friends and family, fiancé, and new corgi pup, Bella.
Navya Varshney, Parm. D.
Education: University of Michigan
Hometown: Novi, MI
Navya grew up in Novi, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan. She then trekked West to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Her professional interests include cardiology, specialty pharmacy practice, and the expansion of ambulatory care services. She ultimately hopes to maintain a professional balance between clinical practice and academia, rooted in service and research. In her free time, you can find her practicing Ashtanga yoga, taking on some “pinteresting” DIY projects, baking, or soaking in the local music scene. She is excited to explore the vibrant culture of Colorado and work with the exceptionally talented people at the University of Colorado!
