Medical Center. The positive aspects of training here are too numerous to count, but here are some of my favorites.

Our Faculty: As program director, I am incredibly fortunate to have many outstanding faculty members dedicated to educating residents. Our faculty includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, educational specialists, and pharmacologists with tremendous strengths in behavior change, advanced obstetrical skills, diabetes, women’s health, sports medicine, rural medicine, practice management, chronic care, research, international medicine, community outreach, indigent care, pediatrics, procedural skills and on and on. Our Department of Family Medicine (DFM): The DFM at the University of Colorado has been a national leader since the beginning of the specialty of family medicine. Under the leadership of Department Chair Frank deGruy, the department is forging the many skills and relationships that will make the Future of Family Medicine concepts a reality. Our residency enjoys a seat at the center of collaborations among the University of Colorado, Denver Health, and numerous community organizations. The future of family medicine begins at the University of Colorado’s Department of Family Medicine.
Our Staff: The clinical staff at our A.F. Williams and Lowry clinics provide skilled and dedicated service to keep our organizations running smoothly and provide important educational experiences for our residents.
Our Facilities: University of Colorado Hospital and Denver Heath Medical Center are the premier teaching hospitals for the entire Rocky Mountain region. They are dedicated to excellence in patient care, medical education, innovation, and care of the underserved. Our residency enjoys the company of some of the most skilled and dedicated health professionals in the world.
