About our Fellowship Program

The ACGME Accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship Training Program at the University of Colorado (CU) School of Medicine was established in 1982.  Our faculty members are committed to sustaining one of the best endocrine training experiences in the country.  Our goal is to train fellows to become academic physicians who are outstanding clinicians, clinician educators, and/or researchers across the spectrum from basic science to translational, clinical, and population research.

We do this by providing each of our fellows:

  • Broad-based clinical training in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes under the guidance of outstanding clinical endocrinologists with expertise in all sub-disciplines of endocrinology,
  • The opportunity to work with experienced investigators on basic, translational, or clinical research projects in the rich research environment at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, to establish a foundation for an independent research career if desired,
  • An educational experience tailored to each fellow, to achieve their own personal professional goals.
