The Department of Emergency Medicine is nationally recognized for research excellence. Our faculty lead innovative clinical and translational research programs with a strong track record of high-impact publications and extramural funding. Robust research development programs for junior investigators include pilot grant mechanisms for trainees and faculty, a clinical research fellowship, and the junior faculty Emergency Medicine Scientist Training and Intensive Mentorship (EM-STIM) program.
