In alignment with the mission of the Department of Emergency Medicine, our faculty is dedicated to providing leadership, innovation and scholarship across undergraduate, graduate, faculty and community education. We strive to become a model of excellence on a national scale.
Our core educators encompass faculty at four different facilities: University Hospital, Denver Health, Rocky Mountain Poison Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Our learners include community groups, college students, and medical students from both the University of Colorado and other national institutions.
Our faculty are regularly selected to present at national and international conferences. They also spearhead the Rocky Mountain Trauma Conference and Rocky Mountain Winter Conference and continue to organize these successful events.
Some highlights of our overarching dedication to educating the next generation of emergency physicians:
Emergency Medicine MOOC starting winter 2014
Continuing Medical Education programs (national and international wilderness medicine trips to unique locations like Nicaragua and Costa Rica)
