Dr. Ginde's Early Critical Care Trials Group was a core contributor to research recently published in the Journal Clinical Infectious Diseases demonstrating the effectiveness of COVID vaccines in the early phases of the pandemic.  Vaccines were highly effective, though effectiveness was lower in immunocompromised adults.  These data are central to recent and upcoming FDA guidance about booster vaccines.
