Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs led by Senior Associate Dean Peter Buttrick, MD, oversees a broad array of offices and services including stewardship of all research operations at the School of Medicine. As one of the country's leading medical research institutions, the School of Medicine boasts faculty members that have produced scientific breakthroughs which have translated into better patient care.

In addition, the office supports the Office of Faculty Affairs, which is responsible for all stages of faculty employment including recruitment and promotion.

Senior clinical research specialists at the Clinical Research Support Center provide free one-on-one help to clinical research professionals trying to navigate regulatory rules. 

The Research Studio Program offers a collaborative, expert roundtable discussion for investigators.
